Service was alot slower when it was only 30% occupied. Had to wait 60 mins for a bowl of Gluten Free Pasta. Guessing there are less kitchen staff on at lunchtimes.

The place was packed, and the owner kindly gave up his table for us so we could eat inside. We had steak with chops and veg and was not disappointed. The steak was cooked to perfection and all the food was delicious. We are returning to Sal in November so will visit here again, hopefully when it's not as busy. Looking forward to returning and trying some of the other delicious food served in this great little bar.

The owner is on it at all times, he takes the time to talk to his customers and must be a great boss as his staff are always happy and smiling and very efficient in their work. The food is your classic type of pub food but it's always tasty and there is enough to satisfy your appetite. Coming back in November and will certainly be visiting it again.
